Hi everyone!
I have been looking around the site for info on the College of New Rochelle Accelerated program and there doesn't seem to be too many people applying or in the program.
If anyone has any information about this program (how competitive it is, if it is any good, any other relevant info) it would be greatly appreciated! :)
small envelope. There's not too much too it.. letter of acceptance plus info on the deposit (due 2 weeks from the date of the letter, so by May 20th), info on the health requirements (there's a health assessment form on immunizations/titers/etc that has to be completed by June 8th; and we've got to have CPR training--the school offers it), and a note about financial aid (basically all we're eligible for are federal loans because we've already got bachelor's degrees--so no pell grants/school grants/or merit scholarships :icon_roll). Once our deposit is in, we've got to set up an appointment to "review your transcripts and to register for your classes in the Summer Session II semester."
okay, well that sounds simple enough. Atleast I won't panic if I see a small envelope, who am I kidding I still will. I wonder if there giving everyone the same appointment day. Thanks for sharing the info here, so Ms L and I can stop worrying about not getting a large envelope! Congrats again Hun!
I did not get an acceptance letter yet. i don't know if it is in the mail or perhaps i will get accepted to the traditional track. anyway, i live some 20 miles away from the school as well, i.e. Brooklyn, midwood area. If you live close; let me know because you mentioned that you located in new York about 20 miles from the school, I don't know if your close so that you can have a study group. let me know.
You must be on AIR.....................CONGRATULATION! Now the celebration begins enjoy..............Any knew NEWS will be appreciated for the board.

I plan to live in new rochelle near campus, as for study groups I'm all in as long as it's on campus or in that area. I'm soo excited for everyone!!! Good luck- ohh letter was mailed on the 7 th of May.
Ms. L.
I don't think I can do private messages yet, but my grades as far as my struggle is concerned was good. I received an A in all of my science courses, I have all of my prerequisites except for Microbiology. In most of my classes I received an A or either a B+ with the exception of two C+. My only problem is that I applied for the Accelerated program on the day of the deadline.
I am a Registered Phlebotomist, and a Registered Medical Assistant and I am affiliated with the American Medical Technology to which I have to applied for my certification every year to keep it updated. I worked at Mount Sinai Hospital as a PCA under the supervision of about 8 RN and I had to do quite a few things we are about to learn.
Thanks for asking, but what I think about myself does not matter it is up to the school and as all of us are doing, I too am waiting..............What ever semester we all see each other in, I will only know you as Ms. Lotus, and Prairie, and Goingthere. All in all, I wish you all the best.
