I hey guys. I really need your help. I am currently looking at TCN and DLSI, for an LPN to RN bridge. I'm having a hard time choosing between the two. They have similar programs and the cost is similar. So I was wondering if any of you guys have used either and could give me some constructive feedback! Thanks ahead of time!

Talk to the colleges directly! Don't go through either one of those. The College Network is all over the place. Schools have been dropping them. You pay more to go through them.
I am working with Excelsior College directly. I am waiting their review of my transcripts to know what I shall be taking. TCN was pretty much wanting me to take everything. Nope, not going to do it. There should be very few, if any, prerequisites or Gen Eds I need to take. Especially not the science, nutrition, psych and sociology classes.

College Network is under investigation from MANY Attorneys General of MANY states. They are being sued out the wazoo. Go directly to the SCHOOL you want to enroll in and skip the middlemen.
The reservation I have about that is the fact that there is no supplemental information with doing it directly through Excelsior. And I am a psych nurse and have been since I graduated from LPN school. So, I fear I will need as much supplemental information as I can get for class and especially clinicals!

If you need supplemental information, it is out there. But if you go with either of those publishing companies you will be adding extreme cost to your program.
Also remember no matter what they say those companies cannot grant degrees.

Neither program is a school. Not one of these "supplemental programs" is aligned with, endorsed by or affiliated with ISU or EC.
There is one that actually uses "test prep" in its name so it's a bit more obvious that you're paying for a prep service not an accredited school of higher learning.
If you need that much prep & support consider a traditional brick & mortar program or a local school hybrid program where theory is online but with on campus instructors and in person clinical rotations.

I just enrolled with dlsi because i know people that did it, some are almost done and they highly recommended that program, im starting first class on oct 29th, let us know what you choose and good luck.
You do have interactive videos and you can ask instructor direct questions, also 3 days clinicals are required as far as hands on, i know few rn that graduated from dlsi and liked it, specially the videos on assessments are more helpful than reading a book, just my opinion from what i know. Good luck in your jour journey.

If you want supplemental information from third party sources, look on ebay where one can buy a used TCN study module for $15 to $20 instead of the more than $600 it costs (with an additional enforceable contract) from TCN itself.
Also, any decent subject matter study guide from any bookstore is going to give you condensed information, again, for a fraction of what you will pay these publishers. This information has been discussed many times on this site over the years.
How can you "graduate" from a publishing company? DLSI is only a publisher of study guides/test preparation services. They are not a school. They cannot legally award degrees.
