Hey everyone. I didn't see a thread for this yet. I was accepted into CMSV's Summer cohort, but decided to defer to Fall for personal reasons. Is anyone else attending the program? Any former or current students that can share their experience?

Hey I got an acceptance for MSVC Fall 2022 but I emailed Ellen to withdraw my application. I did so much research on this school and no one has anything good to say about it. They’ve given me so many red flags just through their emails LOL. If you search MSVC in allnurses you’ll see some comments from the previous cohorts and it’s all horror stories. I honestly don’t think it’s worth the 70k tuition but if it’s your last resort and you’re dedicated enough to study hard and potentially having to teach yourself then go for it!

Hey guys I recently got my acceptance! But I’m really scared because I've been reading negative reviews about this school everywhere. Is anyone attending CMSV this fall? Hey everyone 

I recently got accepted for the fall semester too. But reading the comments are making me really scared. I also applied to mercy, molloy and wagner. I have also been accepted to Wagner and I am not sure where to go. Anyone has any info about wagner?

also have you guys received the email about lectures being conducted in the queens location and labs at the riverdale location?

I was accepted to Mercy, but decided to pass because it’s a little too out the way for me (I don’t drive/have a car). I’ve submitted my deposit to CMSV already. I didn’t receive an email about lectures being on the Queens campus though. That would be a huge inconvenience.

Sorry guys I meant the other way around, lecture at riverdale and labs at queens. I attached the email I got. I applied for the queens location so it would be very inconvenient for me too. Have you guys applied for the riverdale location?

I just requested to join the group. I do have the same concerns as everyone else. I personally know a few people that attended CMSV and they had generally positive things to say (some negative as well), but they were all were in the traditional program. Not sure how much that changes things. I’m just trying to be positive and hopefully things aren’t too bad.

Hey if you have yet to pay the enrollment fee by the due date, do they secure your spot still?

I’m sure they do because I haven’t paid mine either. I’m still waiting on my other school so I wanted to wait till July 15 that’s when the deposit is due by. But they’re being so pushy I don’t understand! They email me every week about the deposit it’s getting annoying.

I don’t like that at all! It seems too early to be eager for money. Did you apply for Fall 2022? I did & my enrollment deposit is due by 6/1 meanwhile I’m also waiting to hear back from multiple schools.

Hey guys,

Basically if you applied to the CMSV and expect to go to the queens “campus” just be prepared to for all your classes to be in the Bronx. The queens campus is a floor above sonic and popeyes. It’s kinda abandoned. Yes the lecture is in Riverdale but labs are in queens. The Bronx students are first priority. As for clinical placements you have no choice where you go. They have placed people in Westchester or New Rochelle so be prepared for that especially if you predominantly use MTA.
