College of Marin Fall 2022

I was wondering if anyone here applied to the College of Marin for fall 2022.

Hi!

I've been going through the required items for the Complio / immunization requirements etc...

I'd suggest getting everything scheduled asap (especially if they want it done before June) because depending on your health care provider and where you are it can be hard to get appointments!

Thank you for letting us know, they give such a tight deadline so I appreciate the advice! 

Also, for those who have not heard back yet, I think they are still going down the list so keep faith!

Have you guys finished the whole complico yet? I haven’t started ? finals and work! I have finals until Wednesday! I was wondering what they ask in the complio, I was things n found the test on Thursday. Do you need to call and schedule? Or we can just show up? I was reading we have 7 days to take test after we pay.

Has anyone applied for the BLS classes? Do you guys think that online is okay? 
I was also confused today because I opened my form this morning and I was able to accept my spot again.. very strange. 
did it happen to anyone?

For those who didn't receive acceptance yet, I emailed CoM.

The email states:

Good morning, 

Thank you for your interest in the College of Marin Registered Nursing program and we are happy to help! There are over 400 applicants and at this point we cannot deny or confirm your admission. Application results were just sent out late last week. Some may receive results faster than others. However, the second group should be emailed on Monday the 23rd. Thank you for your patience.

Hi everyone, a friend of mine had a counselor appointment this morning, and the consumer said they stopped at 80 points. However, not all community college have released their letters yet. SRJC just let their letters out today. So if people decide to go to other colleges, they will have more spots.?

 

 

Did it take how long to get the results for those who did the drug screening? I scheduled mine for this Thursday (at quest). Thank you!

Hi,

It took 3 days for my test to come back in Complio (although I have to take another one because mine came back Negative Dilute - so don't drink too much water!!)

Also, for your BLS - the classroom portion can be online but you still have to complete a skills class in person to get the card.

Hello! Wanted to mention that I gave up my spot for the program since I will be going to another program, so I hope one of you get the spot! Thank you for this chat, it was a great support!

I, too, will be attending another program, but I don't know if they received my message. Did you email or call them to let them know you won't be attending? Did you also receive confirmation that they received your decline status?

I hope you guys are able to get into a Nursing program this round! It was nice interacting with you guys during the stressful waiting process!
