College of Marin Fall 2022

I was wondering if anyone here applied to the College of Marin for fall 2022.

Oh gosh thank you!! So there is still hope! I wish they would say what the point cut off was because last year they had it in their website. But thank you for sharing this, I hope we hear something soon. ??

I hope we hear at least something haha the waiting is awful. 
 

Did they had on their website last year? Do they have this year too?

Yes I agree! And they had it last year, but they don’t have it this year. I keep checking but they are not saying anything in their website this year. ?
 

Also how do you know people got in with 80?!? What do you mean the competition was worse this year??

Sorry for the confusion, I saw here that someone with 82 got in, but not us with 80. Last year my friend got in with 80 in the first lot. And also based on the thread from last year someone with 78 also got in. I talked to my counselor and they emailed the cohort already the prople who got in. So they are probably waiting who will deny and go down the line.

Would you mind sharing how many points you had? Did you email you guys with your points? I think the competition this year was worst than last year. I think people with over 80 got in. 

May I know who did you email to ask about your application? I sent them an email too last week but didn’t get a reply

Hi! I sent to the email I found in the website. They answered me once and then stopped. I just wished they would email us and not let us waiting. Hopefully we will hear something soon to stop the suffering haha ? we need an answer haha

They must have a lot of emails from applicants. I applied to the advanced placement for LVNs too, but yeah I wish they’d send out emails at the same time or at least the same week LOL hopefully we’d hear back this week

Where did you apply for lvn? 
do you mind sharing how many points you have for COM. I am very curious about the cut out for this year.

I applied at COM, they have an advanced placement program. I’m not too sure how many points I have but don’t think my stat is that competitive compared to other applicants. Hopefully they let us know what the cut off is if anything

I emailed the nursing department.

Thank you for your interest in the College of Marin Registered Nursing program and we are happy to help! There are over 400 applicants and at this point we cannot deny or confirm your admission. Application results were just sent out late Thursday please keep checking your mycom email as that will be the email you will receive your results. Thank you for your patience. 

 

now it makes sense. They had over 400 applications

Hello! I just got my acceptance letter this afternoon! I think they are still going through the applications! 

I accepted my spot, but no confirmation letter after. 

Has anyone scheduled their, health screening, drug screening, and CPR classes?
