College of Mainland in Texas City

Has anyone applied for College of Mainland nursing program for Fall 2015?

I was online on TBON and it specifies that only people with CLEAR backgrounds get blue cards. Because even if you were arrested you still submit that "DO"and chances are the allow you to become a REGISTERED NURSE but since with arrest your fingerprinted that's how they know. I was arrested at 20 years old and after longs months they gave me that letter that the nursing department has which acts as my blue card. Sorry for the long post LOL. Anyways @trinatrt I'll say a prayer, you should be all squared away in no time.

Thanks a lot

Ok I got mine done Tuesday the 9th as well. I'm a Las Vegas native so mine may take a little longer since I wasn't born and raised in Texas.

Nevermind lol. Just got my blue card in the mail!

Awesome. That's good news!

Thank you! Now all we have to do is the drug test and go to orientation. I'm so anxious and excited I wish it was next month instead of August lol

I got my blue card too!!

Well I just checked the status of my Pre Check and it says that Im clear. At least that went great

Does anyone know of any good apartments out in the general area of the school? Pearland, clear lake, Webster, etc. I'm looking to move before the program starts.

So I got my blue card as well, but thought something would've shown up from juvenile so I did a DO and so now since I told them it has to be reviewed. Kinda wish I hadn't said anything, but had they found it and I didn't say it it would've taken longer. Gosh.

Did yall know that even though we've gotten the HEP B vxn's we still need the titer too? Most schools it's one or the other.

There are some good apartments off 45s/beltway 8 next to AMC 30 and it's a straight shot to the school.

Ok thank you, I'll check it out. What's the name of the area? I'm looking around for a nice place and possible even a roommate.

If it was juvenile they probably wouldn't have. If you were cleared, you were clear and should've just gone with it. But again, better safe than sorry and you're conscious may have gotten to you. It'll hopefully get taken care of quickly.
