College of Mainland in Texas City

Published

Has anyone applied for College of Mainland nursing program for Fall 2015?

So I was searching the classes with the old degree plan and it looks like HPRS 1206 is not there so that makes me think that we might be using the new degree plans. What do you guys think?

Got my blue slip in the mail!

I'm all clear, now just gotta wait for orientation

She said the new degree plan hasn't been approved so it wont be used until the spring

OMG, i just received a letter from TBON saying I need to send a DO for a traffic violation in 2013. They said it will take up to 30 days and I don't haft to pay a fee. I had a feeling this would happen😤

It should be fairly fast once they receive all that information.

@trinatrt were you arrested for the traffic violation? And don't worry that's minor so it will be cleared up fairly quick.

When did you complete your fingerprinting?

Yea I was arrested and it was dismissed, honestly I cant remember exactly what it was for ( I believe expired registration, and I missed my court date)...I hope so, Im on the phone trying to find out exactly what court I need to get the documents from. Im gonna send this off overnight hopefully by Wednesday

Yea I pray it does

I was online on TBON and it specifies that only people with CLEAR backgrounds get blue cards. Because even if you were arrested you still submit that "DO"and chances are the allow you to become a REGISTERED NURSE but since with arrest your fingerprinted that's how they know. I was arrested at 20 years old and after longs months they gave me that letter that the nursing department has which acts as my blue card. Sorry for the long post LOL. Anyways @trinatrt I'll say a prayer, you should be all squared away in no time.
