Hello everyone, I'm just making a thread for everyone that is applying for this upcoming semester. I applied last for the spring but didn't get in d/t a clerical error so make sure if you guys are applying to double and triple check they have all of your information in the system. But can they even do that mid application period? I submitted my stuff back in January with the older point system. If they just went and changed it then I don't actually know where I stand with points. Especially If they took away from other things. I just went on the website and I see the same old ranking score formula. Maybe they will implement this new one for the spring2017

Yeah my GPA could be higher..not too sure about all this new stuff they're implementing! :(

We were told about the new weighted gpa at one of the recent information sessions, but they didn't spend much time talking about it. It didn't make much difference to me, so I didn't push the subject.

I just called to make sure. The director lady told me that whatever is on the website is the most current one. At the end of the day whatever score I have, I worked the hardest I could to get it. But I also feel if they want to change things at least notify everyone.

The website fact sheet says they use the weighted GPA.

When they say weighted it means like, the 4 credit classes have more weight than the 3 credits. So basically what's harder will have more weight/effect on your avg

I just called and talked to someone about the new system and I'm kinda low..had I known any of this or rather had I been told when I was originally being advised I would've retaken ONE class this spring. Sigh..oh well good luck everyone! Hopefully next fall 2017

Well seems like everyone is being told different things lol... The unorganization is unreal. Nobody is on the same page in that department. I still think it's the one on the website though because if they changed it then they would have updated the site as well. Don't count yourself out already!!!!!

Well if it goes off the one on the website, that will put me back to 463.44. Do they round it?

Well that's where you are, 463.44. No rounding. The deadline is Sunday. There's no way they'll change it in the middle of the application period to something new.

The website does reflect the weighted GPA now with gpa x 100..the pre-orientation doesn't (yet) they told me they changed it all last semester..still news to me! I think the max now if you have EVERY single possible point is 870.
