Hello everyone, I'm just making a thread for everyone that is applying for this upcoming semester. I applied last for the spring but didn't get in d/t a clerical error so make sure if you guys are applying to double and triple check they have all of your information in the system. Lol, so it's subject to change but they don't notify the students of the change. Well thanks for the update and clarification. I don't see how this change makes anything better. It just makes points system completely different. Because now you can pretty much get the bare minimum on the TSI score but if you have all A's your automatically in the 800 range. . oh well

I have no idea but I hope for great news very soon. Im so anxious! I hope this new way of scoring gives it's really good for all of us.

I have no idea since this is a new way they are doing it and I hear that they are doing it so students can get a better chance of getting in.

Do u know what your score is with the new 800 point range ?

675 I believe. You multiply your GPA by 100 correct? Then you just add it with your TSI and science points etc.

Hi, guys I applied for this fall too.. I was worried bc the application process was fairly easier than other schools that I applied too, did yall feel the same?

& I'm so anxious on waiting!! When do you think we will know?

Yes it's definitely a faster application process than most schools. I wonder what's cosidered a good total of points out of the 870? Very anxious as well! One person told me we will be hearing soon, and another said mid June.

My score is not that great even with the new score system it's a 675. I really hope is a good enough score to get in. I am crossing my fingers and hope we hear soon because I am so anxious.

Mid June?! I wonder where they heard that from. Last semester they said it takes 2 weeks after the deadline. This yr they changed it to 3 weeks after the deadline. So basically anytime after the 23rd we'll be notified. Now it could take even a 4th week, but I highly doubt mid June. Then again, you never know with COM. Seems like they change everything last minute.
