Hi everyone. I haven't found a forum out there for COM Fall 2017. I recently found out about the school and will be turning in my application for the deadline. Anyone else out there ? :)

Hi everyone, I'm just new in the forum and looking for helps. Can any of you please share to me how did you apply for this program? I'm looking for the LVN to ADN track to apply but so far I already late for the program I'm thinking I might apply for Spring 2018 for ADN pre-licensure track because I really stressed out and really want to get RN degree. I don't mind to do 1 extra semester. I studied at San Jac but I learned San Jac they have 5yrs expiration course and my A&P 1 already expired and they won't except my application for Spring 2017 when I asked them if I can retake it in Summer. so COM is my last hope. I just applied at COM and sent them all of y transcripts. What do I need to next? I'm waiting for them to review all of my transcript before I could come to meet the advisor. How can you get the 750s score?. I just got AA degrees and got all the pre-req courses done. (I took all pre-req based on BSN requirement but I didn't qualified for UTMB or UTHealth bc I retook A&P 2 couple time. )Do I have high chance for the ADN program? I had done with TSI when I first started with college. Do I need to redo TSI reading again? Do they have any study guide for it? Sorry to ask so many questions bc I really really want to get in. Please help

Once u take your transcript you can take the TSI (only the reading) it shouldn't be hard if you are in college level when you get the score talk to an advisor so they can open up the nurse application link.. to get to the 700s it's based on GPA,TSI reading , science points, and if u have another degree but the TSI is important and if u have a C in the sciences they won't give u any points for them

Try to score high on the TSI and if u have A's or B' in the sciences you will be fine

Hi! I just found this forum! I got accepted into the ADN program. I haven't gotten the uniforms yet. It's Cherokee brand only and I hate that fabric and was hoping we could get the Cherokee luxury, it is a lot softer. Do you know if there is a specific style that is required? I'm trying to create a Facebook page like someone suggested previously, may make it easier for everyone to communicate and get to know eachother. Has anyone done the drug screen yet? I thought I would have heard from them by now.

I just need the drug screen I paid for it and enrolled but they haven't contacted me, yeah you should make a Facebook page and I called about the shoes and they want white shoes she said they don't have to love leather just look like leather lol so that made it clear to me that we need he white nurses shoes
