College of the canyons spring 2017

Hello

i just applied to COC RN program for spring 2017 and am seeing if anyone else has also! I have also applied for moorpark and thinking about applying to Glendale as well. Should I be studying for the TEAS? I don't have a high GPA in bio (all Cs...) do I even have a chance of being accepted??

thanks for any replies

I don't have kids as young as you do, but I do have two boys (4&6) and a daughter (8). I feel you about childcare. I have two in school and my youngest will start during my second semester. I worry about wverything with them. My husband can take them to school, but I stress about making it for school pick ups or what if one of them gets sick...

I totally get it you guys. I have a 2 1/2 year old. I am hoping my mom can help me out but I'm also worried about my work since I work full time í ½í¸•

My oldest will be 8 the first day of class, so she's also in school and that helps a lot. I will feel a lot better after orientation when I have a clearer idea of how this works!!!

Press the questions in orientation because it is a lot of information. They go over the paperwork, you turn in folder 1, and you leave. I felt like my questions weren't answered, but I was an alternate and I didn't press them too much. I got an idea of what it is like from doing it and trust me I felt the stress and I wasn't even enrolled!! I think about the students I met often and hope they are hanging in there.

We should have study/play dates. A little unconventional but may just work! ;)

Anyone's kids happen to go to Castaic Elementary?

just curious ...

No. I live in Acton. Do you live in Castaic?

Anyone know when registration for Spring starts? Trying to figure out $$

Yes, I do.

I was wondering what the deadline is to turn in an application for the spring semester too.

I do know that you have to reapply if you have not taken courses for a semester or more to reactivate your student record. I did that after orientation in May and will do the same this time. I assume registration will be sometime in January. So much money to spend right at the hoildays!!

I have three kids, ages 16, 14 and 10. I am a single mom so it will be a bit challenging so I need to set up a support system because I will need help.

We will make it through!

I plan to set up a study area with two big dry erase boards and a study area, so if we ever want to meet up at my place we can. I could even have my daughter help babysit.

Maybe this is a dumb question but does anyone know if it's acceptable to wear all-white vans with the uniform?
