Hello
i just applied to COC RN program for spring 2017 and am seeing if anyone else has also! I have also applied for moorpark and thinking about applying to Glendale as well. Should I be studying for the TEAS? I don't have a high GPA in bio (all Cs...) do I even have a chance of being accepted??
thanks for any replies
I attended the fire card class today. The instructor said that he will be doing two more classes between 11/19 and the 12/13 due date if anyone can't make the next one. You can email him at [email protected] for details. Be sure to include "fire card class" in the subject line so he will reply. I thought he did a great job, very informative and kept it interesting. The cards are good for 4 years and you receive them the same day.

do we need to purchase any study guides or something before attending class? :)
Hello Everyone! Congratulations to everyone who got accepted. I got accepted into COC and LA Pierce College for Spring 2017. I am very excited and conflicted. Both schools have similar NCLEX pass rates. They are about the same travel time from my home. I do not know what other factors to consider. Is anyone else in the same situation? Are there current students in either program who can give me advice? Are the instructors or clinical sites better at one or the other? Please help!!!
Congrats to you! I only applied to COC and am thrilled to be accepted. Some things to consider:
1. the days you will attend and the potential schedule, is one seemingly better for you? I would really look into this and know the difference
2. are you wanting to apply to begin the BA program? Which allows you to pursue the program best for you
3. I would call the office with a couple questions that will help you make your decision. You may want to look at rate my professor to see student feedback as to which professors you may prefer. I hear COC has great professors, but I am sure that is true of LA Pierce.
4. traffic, try the drive during potential hours that will coincide with your schedule, which is less traffic.
5. I would see which offers more support to you the student and what this looks like, for example I hear COC has tutoring offered for RN students as well as the Kaplan NCLEX online support throughout the program, what does Pierce offer? It may be the same, not sure.
You are in a great position to have the option!! So happy for you! Best of luck with your choice.

As long as they are plain white leather I think you are OK. Just make sure they are comfy enough. I have no idea what kind of shoes to get...did anyone go to the fire safety class today?
