Hi everyone!

This might be a little too early for a thread like this, but I submitted my online application for the spring at COC and I'm so anxious yet excited!

Anyone else here already go ahead and do that? What's everyone's stats who's applying?

I have been studying for the TEAS since May, and it feels so real now that my application is in!

Why would you say that? Your GPA is like top notch!

It is based on points. I got 40 points for GPA and 20 for Teas test. Another 7 points for few other things. That gives me a total of 67 points. I am not competitive anymore.

They have the weirdest point system. How they do it. It's different from like any other nursing program I've seen. I think my points only go to like 70 tho because my overall is a 3.0 and bio is 4.0. So I don't get full GPA points even with a high teas score. ): I guess we will see soon.

Are we supposed to get an email saying we are eligible for the selection or just if we get in or not?

It means that nationally you scored 89% better than everyone else. The program means you scored 91% better than everyone else applying to ADN programs

The 64s is just the average of the scores of people

For real though! I saw that last year they got them on the 16th so I'm like.. Okay, 10 days then I can either celebrate or curl up in the fetal position and reevaluate all my life choices haha
