College of the Canyons Spring 2015

Hi everyone! I am starting this thread for anyone that will be applying to the COC spring 2015 semester!

I am so nervous to start applying, and so excited at the same time!

I am curious as to what every ones GPA is that will be applying?

Hey guys, to all the alternates I called and asked what number I was and the lady said they don't give out that information and when I asked her about how many alternates are given a spot in the program all she said was "a handful"

I wish she'd be more accurate :/

Well there are only 30 seats. I would imagine there would be just as many alternates as there are seats. i guess we'll all see on October 24 for the orientation on how many people there are..

There are only 30 seats in total for Spring? Wow! For some reason, i thought there would be more than that.

I got my email too. I was accepted. It took 1 1/2 years. Finally!!!

Oh no don't quote me on that number though, sorry . I believe it's around there. I know it's not a lot.. But there should also be about the same amount of alternates for the number of seats available. That's what I meant. lol.

Spring semester starts February 9th, but I am sure they will tell us at the orientation when we will actually start.

Hi everyone! I found this thread somehow and I also applied to the COC Nursing program for spring and got accepted!!! Just received the email yesterday. Thought I'd drop in since we will be meeting at orientation...I'm SO excited! Congrats to everyone :)

For someone that is already in the program, how many days a week do you have class/clinicals?

I have friends in first semester right now and they go 5 days a week for the first half of the first semester. Then it goes to 4 days a week for the rest of first semester, and that is when they start clinical s.

That's a lot :o do you know what time they are finished by each day? It's going to be hard to fix my work schedule around it >.

it was only a few hours every day, but I am not sure how it is for the second half of the semester :/
