Hi there! I am too applying for Spring 2015! I am also super nervous/excited
Where else are you looking to apply to?
Not sure of exact GPA because I have to calculate it from all my different schools I've been to...but I know in the pre-req courses, I have all As and one B. What about you?

I'm applying for the lvn to rn program too! My sciences are 4.0, the rest I'm not sure, probably 3.5-7?
Have you applied yet? I'm hoping to by early next month.
Good luck!
I am only applying to COC so I hope I can get in quick :/ I too have all As in my prereq classes and 1 B :/, my overall is a 3.5 but I haven't calculated my other classes I have taken from other schools. I submitted my Prereq eval request but I haven't received an email yet. I am going to start studying for the TEAS test in July, and I have work experience so I am hoping that helps me:) I wonder how many people are going to apply... I know a lot of people are trying to apply that are finishing up their prereqs over summer :/
I'm taking the teas next week. I took the teas 4 a few years ago, shouldnt be too bad, especially if u study. :)
Let's stay in touch on the app progress!

Good luck you guys! I applied for and was accepted to COC Fall 2014. They are SUPER friendly to work with and notify us on time with everything. The application process is so hassle free, quick and easy! They are one of the first to notify and as I said, they were ON TIME with notifications. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
Rameningitis, how did you do on your teas?
79.4 Didn't prepare for chem well enough.
That is a great score! Congrats!
Thx! Wish I woulda have had at least an 80 but oh well.
How many classes is your first semester and are you able to schedule any graduation required general ed courses around the nursing courses?
I hear ya!
First semester is one class that lasts the whole semester. There are two other courses that are split. One course we have weeks 1-6 and then skills lab, the second class is taken weeks 7-end of semester and that is when we start clinicals at week 7. So total of 11.75 units first semester.
I finished all my graduation requirements prior to start of first semester. I didnt want to have to worry about those since i heard the nursing classes by themselves can be daunting at times. Before we start clinicals each semester, there is a dosage exam that we must pass at a score of 100%. We will have three attempts to get 100%.
I will need to work during the program, so that is whyi chose to wait until i was done with all grad requirements prior to applying. Everyones situation is different though.
Thanks for the info. Wish you all the best in your studies, especially while working during the program. Many ppl work and pull it off no problem, just important to use time wisely IMO.
