Hi everyone! I am starting this thread for anyone that will be applying to the COC spring 2015 semester!
I am so nervous to start applying, and so excited at the same time!
I am curious as to what every ones GPA is that will be applying?
I believe they rank you using prerequisite GPA, overall GPA and you get points if you have experience/volunteer/need financial aid/bilingual. Things like that. And I have heard the teas is a big factor into it. After they rank everyone they will find a natural cut off and however many spots are left after that is what is used as lottery.
I have been studying using the McGraw Hill 5 TEAS practice tests, but decided to bite the bullet and order the ATI manual. It is a little different, but generally the same. I just wanted to pass on the savings I found on Amazon. I rented it for $13.79 until December. I got it in 2 days. Good luck everyone.
I haven't received it yet. I am assuming we will hear back by the end of this week because that will give us less than two weeks notice before taking the TEAS (from what I have read on other posts). I am trying to refrain from checking my email numerous times a day, but it is hard. I am attempting to only check in the afternoon and at night. I just hope I am prepared enough for the teas. I would really like to start the program this next semester. Do any of you have healthcare experience or volunteer work? I am hoping my experience helps me get in quick, along with my prereq gpa and teas score. (hopefully I can score high on it).

I believe it is at the end of September... the tentative TEAS dates are usually end of September/Early October, or at least that's what I read from past blogs.
