Hi everyone! I am starting this thread for anyone that will be applying to the COC spring 2015 semester!
I am so nervous to start applying, and so excited at the same time!
I am curious as to what every ones GPA is that will be applying?

I am so nervous about taking the teas. Does anyone know if we hear back about our application in mid September or is it late September? I hope to get in this first semester, I really do not want to wait.
I believe it is at the end of September... the tentative TEAS dates are usually end of September/Early October, or at least that's what I read from past blogs.

I believe they rank you using prerequisite GPA, overall GPA and you get points if you have experience/volunteer/need financial aid/bilingual. Things like that. And I have heard the teas is a big factor into it. After they rank everyone they will find a natural cut off and however many spots are left after that is what is used as lottery.
I have been studying using the McGraw Hill 5 TEAS practice tests, but decided to bite the bullet and order the ATI manual. It is a little different, but generally the same. I just wanted to pass on the savings I found on Amazon. I rented it for $13.79 until December. I got it in 2 days. Good luck everyone.
that's what I have too. It doesn't seem too bad, but I have recognized questions in the practice test that were not covered in the review section. We should hear back soon!
I know the wait is killing me! I am checking my email 3-4 times a day.

Hey guys I just found this forum! I'm waiting on teas invite
Has anyone got the email?
I haven't received it yet. I am assuming we will hear back by the end of this week because that will give us less than two weeks notice before taking the TEAS (from what I have read on other posts). I am trying to refrain from checking my email numerous times a day, but it is hard. I am attempting to only check in the afternoon and at night. I just hope I am prepared enough for the teas. I would really like to start the program this next semester. Do any of you have healthcare experience or volunteer work? I am hoping my experience helps me get in quick, along with my prereq gpa and teas score. (hopefully I can score high on it).

I'll keep everyone posted if/when I receive the email. :)
I got my invite from Moorpark today! Still waiting on College of the Canyons.
I am so anxious waiting for it. I just want to take the teas and be that much closer.
I'm still waiting on COC. I just would like to know the day so I can ask for it off or switch with someone. I don't wanna have to call out and lose hrs :/
I hope that we will hear today. From looking at previous post, most people found out on the 18th/19th. I just hate checking my email constantly. Is everyone prepared to take the test? (assuming we are eligible for the program). I just want it to be mid-October.
