College of the Canyons Spring 2015

Hi everyone! I am starting this thread for anyone that will be applying to the COC spring 2015 semester!

I am so nervous to start applying, and so excited at the same time!

I am curious as to what every ones GPA is that will be applying?

Really?! Another test date? Ugh so we probably won't know until the end of the week. This is going to drive me crazy.

Yup I took mine last week Thursday and she mentioned tomorrow is her overflow. So yeah it'll be til the end of the week I would think. If not earlier. :)

Well I guess I will have to come up with ways to occupy myself until then. So I am sure we will probably not hear anything until Thursday. This week will go by so slow.

I don't know but their orientation is on the 3rd so I am hoping it will be soon!

I'm so nervous too! I've been checking my email like a crazy person, but I'm also dreading the potential rejection :sorry:

That's exactly how I feel. I feel like my GPA, experience and teas score are all good enough that I should have no problem getting in ...but at the same time I have no idea where I rank and am soooo scared of getting a rejection letter

This is my 3rd semester applying and there is alot of competition especially when it is a lottery.

I hope you get in this semester! I know coc does it off of rank and then they find a natural cut off from that, and however many spots are left from that are filled with lottery...but someone said the RN instructor said they aren't doing lottery this semester:/ which makes me wonder what everyone's ranking is, and if there are a lot of people with high ranks... I guess we will know within the next few days.

My teas score was very low. I just barely made it. My science GPA was 2.3 and my regular GPA was 3.6 and I have 6 years working in the medical field.

haha, I don't think we will know until Friday. Especially if they just tested people yesterday; maybe Thursday?
