College of the Canyons Spring 2015

Hi everyone! I am starting this thread for anyone that will be applying to the COC spring 2015 semester!

I am so nervous to start applying, and so excited at the same time!

I am curious as to what every ones GPA is that will be applying?

I'm thinking it could even be next week. They still have to calculate everything, make the selections, and the alternate selections. I am still waiting for Moorpark, Pierce, and Pasadena as well. Moorpark had their last TEAS on Friday, and their orientation is on the 3rd. Last year, notifications were received starting the 23rd. With COC notifications started the 15th I think, but I don't know when the last TEAS date was.

just got a message from the nursing office saying they don't have enough qualified LVN applicants for the bridge program. Totally bummed. Will have to be considered for generic program only now.

Oh no:( I hope you get in to the generic program then! When did they send the email?

got the email around 1pm today. i think we'll hear by friday as they wanted to know from LVN applicants by tomorrow @ 1600.

Oh, so we will probably hear Friday then, since I think they leave at 1600. So that means there had to be under 25 qualified lvns. :/

That's good! I wonder how many other LVNs are going to try; or how many there were if there weren't at least 25

Not sure, but either way, I want in. COC's bridge was a minimum of 3 semesters anyway, and for some, it's 4. Not optimal like other 2 semester programs but I'll be happy if I can get a crack at it.
