I looked at the application...and I freaked out and closed the tab í ½í¸ž Can you please help me? For the part that says proficiency in another language I am fluent in spanish, but I want to know if they ask proof on the next page? ( I took Ap Spanish in high school), and also I have scanned by high school diploma and saved it as a pdf file...would I just have to attach it where it tells me to? Please please help me í ½í¸Š Thank you

Hi Luna1994, I believe that you submit the supporting documents on the 2nd page. I am not sure about the Spanish proof but I would attach any document supporting it:).

I accidentally closed that 2nd page before submitting my documents (it doesn't let you go back) , so I sent mine to their email. I might not be that much help since I dont know what happens after that 2nd page

I would call them and asked them to double check

Thank You :) We are in this journey together!! I also put "no" when it asked me if the nursing prerequisites were approved in a previous cycle, since this is the only cycle I have applied to. I hope that was the correct answer! lol Best of Luck to You! :)

I have not taken the test yet, I am hoping COC "invites" me to take the TEAS! I also only applied to COC this session since my other options were Moorpark. I cant apply to Moorpark because they dont accept Anatomy and Physiology to be taken as a combined course (which is what I did!!) and my other option was Pierce. I dont know how I feel about Pierce because their selection is ALL RANDOM LOTERY ...so yeah only COC this time around :) How about you have you done the test yet??

I am applying! I applied and got invited to take the TEAS last semester but felt unprepared to take it yet. I am only applying to COC and considering AV College. I hope we all can get in and start! :yes:

@ mom2- That's great to hear. Im not sure if this is correct but I think those that get invited to take the TEAS can say that they will be in the program? I read that on another post here about COC program? Anyway...may I ask whay your stats are? I will share mine just so I know if I have a chance...

prereq time- 3 years w/ no repeats or Ws

core bio gpa- 4.0

core english gpa- 4.0

overall gpa- 3.9 ( my only B was a history class and it still haunts me to date)

Those are nice grades you got :) I took the Teas last year.

I'm applying to a couple... last year I only applied to GCC and LAVC and didn't get in for the lottery portion... so this year I am re applying to those 2 again. Also, I'm applying to Pierce, LACC and for last resource Mount Saint Marys.

I hope I get in GCC program since is closest to me but any would be fine :)

Have you been reviewing the Teas material? I know when you get invited you dont have that much time to prepare. I did the Teas before any school invited me and I got 72%...I wish it was higher but I'm fine with that number :)

Coc is not lottery based? How do they pick the applicants? Points?

Can't wait to hear from them :)
