CNMI eligibility period validity for NCLEX (Saipan)

Published

hi everyone,

can someone pls. help me? i was granted eligibility to take the nclex board exams by the nursing board of commonwealth of northern marianas islands. The letter i received was dated august 28, 2006 with no indicated expiry date for the registration. to date, i have not registered with pearson because my father was diagnosed with extensive stage lung cancer and somehow i just had to put my nclex plans on hold. i now wish to pursue my original plan to take the nclex but i am not sure if my eligibility to register with pearson is still valid... also would anyone know how long the att validity for saipan?

do they have a website? or can you email them?

CNMI don't have a website. You can email CNMI to your heart's content but they don't even bother to reply. Very very frustrating.

hello!

did you already have an answer to your query regarding the cnmi eligibility?

good day!

:nuke:

they dont have a website.i hate to tell you this but you have to call them.even when im still in the philippines i do call them and now i still have to call them everytime i endorse my license to another state.but they are not that too comlicated compare to the other boards of nursing specially new york.

This thread is almost one year old, do hope that they have an answer.

But be aware that if one is not going to be working in Saipan, then they are going to need to endorse that license and if you think things are slow, they will be with that as well. If you are going to be working in a state that has more requirements, one is going to have to meet those requirements in order to endorse. Does not save anytime.

I applied for saipan bon on my own last october 2007. The first response from the board, i heard after 6 months. The message they sent me was that they need me to send 2x2 photo. I sent them the same week. Until now, I still do not have my eligibility and they are impossible to contact. No one answers the phone. I tried e-mail and fax too. To no avail. I call 5:30 am manila time almost every 2 minutes but my bill just got out of hand because i only get voicemail prompt. It's really very frustrating and it's so hard because I have no other way to get in touch with them. I checked on blogs and news and it seems like saipan is going bankrupt. their government is sinking and the public offices hours are cut-off. I just wish I hear from them so if i am not eligible yet, i can apply to another board.

well thats the downside i saipan , its very difficult to contact them. im just lucky that after applying for licensure their my eligilibility came very fast after 3months. with regards to the license, i had no problem since they were very quick in sending it. my problem now is im about to apply for visa screen and i need licensure verification from them. hope things will not take longer enough to the point my ielts will expire. :o
