Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

I am about to start CMA school and get the certifiate and finish up with A.A.S. My passion is nursing but its takes a while to get into the school about 2years I can have my AAS in 2yrs. What are peoples intake on MA to LPN OR RN. Also MA to P.A?? I just wanna get into the medical field asap!! I work as a HHA now.

I have been a CMA for 6 years now and I am starting school in the fall. I think its a great idea! I have had a lot of experience in pediatrics and now I am working in a family practice office so all these years of working in the medical field has made me ready for school. What is an AAS? I decided to go for a two year RN program with no waiting list, I dont know what your area is like, but you can usually find a tech school with no waiting list and with no pre-req requirements. Just make sure the school is accredited. It seems like a great place and I cant wait to get started! Good luck with your career!

Hi Thanks for the response. The A.A.S is the Associates of the Medical Assistant. Im going to get my CMA certification and finish up right after with the associates to get further with the RN or Physicians Assistant. I haven't yet found the area i really wanna be in yet. I am currently working as a HHA doing home visits.
