what exactly do you mean? a ms degree in education? something specific to peds? what is it that you want to do?
I am Asking if there is a site that helps any clinical nurse educator in her duties like assessing learning need, web certification, Exams on line, creative teaching methods.
I will be thankful if u can provide me with a site special for pediatrics.
Thank you a lot.
Roro.

Did you see the sticky about educationscholar.com. Is that the type of material you are looking for?

Here are a couple for you to try. http://www.nnsdo.org and http://www.nursingworld.org/ancc/certification/catalogs.html
The first is the org for nurse educators with books and other information to buy. The second is to get certified in nursing professional development.
Good luck
thank you Corey for the sites.
I have another question for all nurse educators and especially those who work in a pediatric setting. I wanna ask if a child needs to be kept NPO prior to the administration of chloral hydrate prior to any procedure for example EEG. In some literatures they said yes however, in others they said no. I need your help.
I am sure it depends upon the entity. In my hospitals, yes, they are NPO.
thank you Siri , I 'd like to know the time limit that the child will be kept NPO. i.e. for how many hours prior and post the procedure.
Chloral hydrate has a long half life and therefore the child should be NPO at least 6 - 8 hours prior to and fully conscious and no threat of inadequate airway afterwards.
