Cleveland clinic pass physical capability after failing?!

Published

Has anyone ever taken the physical capability at Cleveland clinic and passed it after they failed it?! I failed mine, waited the 90 days, and now I've been in touch with the recruiter and the time has come to retake it! I was surprised to have failed it to begin with since I'm 30 and never had a injury. I could manage to lose a few pounds, but can't most people say that?! I wouldn't call myself overweight. I'm so discouraged. I work at as an RN somewhere else and I'm easily able to transfer and lift patients! Any advice or encouragement is welcome! Just wondering if anyone hear of someone failing the 1st time and passing the 2nd. Thank you!

She said I passed so I'm good to go. I'll be working as a PCNA until I take my test

Congratulations!! That's awesome! My recruiter sent me an email on Monday telling me I passed! What a relief! :woot:

Thank you! I ended up rescheduling it since the Cavs championship parade was the same day and I was nervous I wouldn't make it downtown when they started to anticipating over over a million people downtown! I figured traffic would have been too unpredictable getting to my appointment even if I gave myself plenty of time to get there! Today was the earliest I could get in to take it! I gave it my all, and now all I can do is patiently wait! :)

Annnnd I just got my results and I passed!! So hopefully anyone who sees this that fails the first time around can be hopeful! I was certain I failed again, but thankfully I was wrong!!

Hi Congratulations. I am applying for new grad position in CC. Do you know how long the orientation takes? Thank you.

Hello. I am just wondering if there is a limit to how many times you can take the machine part of the Cleveland clinic physical? I failed it twice. I have worked on getting stronger to take it again, and everytime i apply now (for pcna job) i get and rejection letter.

what was the test like? I have mine soon. and not sure what to expect and how much weights I have to lift

@Megg I'm not applying at CC (at least not for the next few years), but could you please do us all a favor and update what you did on the test / how much weights/ etc..? This way, future applicants have an idea as to what to expect in the year 2020 and beyond.

NEW update to physical capability test! I am a new applicant and after failing and retaking the test on 5/25/21 they have decided that this test is no longer required for occupational health clearance was implemented on 5/25 or 5/26. Just my luck, but good news to all future applicants!
