I originally wanted to be an OB/GYN, but then I got pregnant and decided I would just become an account (math is my favorite subject). After my stay in the hospital (labor/delivery & postpartum) I decided I can still be in the hospital setting if I become a nurse. I want to be an OB/GYN nurse.:heartbeat I eventually want to become a certified nurse midwife.

Ms. Lewis I did not hear anything from that company in conyers, so I am going to another place in Fayetteville and got an appt right away for my cpr course.
How is everyone doing on your packet stuff. My uniforms have been shipped I cant wait to see how they are going to look. Also I found the Kswiss shoes we need on Amazon for 40 bucks.
Hey Val!!! Welcome to the thread! I applied to GPC twice and got denied both times. But this time around I was accepted to Gordon's Nursing program, Clayton state and GSU respiratory therapy program.

@ LisaMac, thanks:) Question, the K-Swiss shoes that you ordered do they look like the reg shoes, because when I looked at the ones that they had on the web site they had nursemates, and only one kind of K-Swiss! Is that the kind that you ordered? I am going to order everything tomorrow to get the ball rolling.
If you go on the website to buy the uniforms the shoes are on there and just copy the style of the shoe and it will pop up, it is a basic white shoe.
An2on, I too was accepted to Gordon and Emory, but chose Clayton state, Emory too pricey and dont want any loans and Gordon you only get a associates and I have everything for a bachelors, plus clayton is where my heart belongs. I cant wait to meet everyone.

I live in Conyers too! Maybe we can all study together once the program begins!
Naytea once I get home tonight I will forward you the info. The drug test place has several locations. Once you go on advantage student as per packets instructions and of course pay it will give you a place via your zip code. Very easy. Let me know when you get the email
Yes, I will be starting there program in the fall.I was short on a pre req or two for clayton so I did not apply there. Cause I know they have a point system, but I will try the RN-MSN program offered there.
