Just thought I would get a forum started as we await the decision. Everyone feel free to post your overall GPA, math and Science GPA, and TEAS scores. Also why you want to be a nurse and what specialty you would like to work in?

Overall GPA 3.38

M&S GPA 3.4

TEAS 80.7

I originally wanted to be an OB/GYN, but then I got pregnant and decided I would just become an account (math is my favorite subject). After my stay in the hospital (labor/delivery & postpartum) I decided I can still be in the hospital setting if I become a nurse. I want to be an OB/GYN nurse.:heartbeat I eventually want to become a certified nurse midwife. :D

Im taking that lab on friday as well after class. But we dont start clinical until october right?

I will ask my friend but i believe you do labs before clinicals from what I understand and I believe in just a few weeks you then start nursing home then hospital the last 8 weeks but you have to pass your check offs 1st. I think clinicals are from 6-12 or 6-1

I sent a email about that to the lady on the top of our packet information but have not heard yet.

I tried to do the waiver of insurance but it would not let me get an acct. Was anyone able to do that?

I called about the health insurance since last night I was unable to set up an account for a waiver of insurance. She said that it should open up in may or June

We have to either buy their health insurance or if we have our own then we have to do a waiver. I have blue cross so I opt out on buying their insurance and do a waiver
