Just thought I would get a forum started as we await the decision. Everyone feel free to post your overall GPA, math and Science GPA, and TEAS scores. Also why you want to be a nurse and what specialty you would like to work in?
Overall GPA 3.38
M&S GPA 3.4
TEAS 80.7
I originally wanted to be an OB/GYN, but then I got pregnant and decided I would just become an account (math is my favorite subject). After my stay in the hospital (labor/delivery & postpartum) I decided I can still be in the hospital setting if I become a nurse. I want to be an OB/GYN nurse.:heartbeat I eventually want to become a certified nurse midwife.
Please weigh in Clayton State Applicants!
The advisor hold has been removed but the hold that's preventing me from registering says "Field of Study Restriction - Major" So I think thy just haven't changed my major yet. I've been trying to call my advisor for a week straight and no one ever answers the phone. Worst case scenario is that I managed to get an appointment with her Wednesday afternoon so hopefully everything will get taken care of then. I also have to get my financial aid switched from GPC to Clayton, so I figured I'd go in and do that Wednesday too.
I tried to register as well....got the same restriction error for Patho....called the registrar's office...told me to have my advisor manually register me...gave my advisor the CRN...she said she would get me registered......It appears that the pre-nursing status had not been changed....this was around 3:30PM today
I'm getting really frustrated now, it still won't let me register and meanwhile at least one of the classes I wanted is full already. It won't even let me register for Interactive Comm in the summer because it's saying "Class Restriction". And still my advisor is not answering the phone. By the time I get in to see her at the appointment I made everything will be full and I'll wind up with the worst schedule possible.

Look at it this way; both semesters will be brutal!
Like Ms. Lewis said Patho is memory, but micro that is a different story, plus the lab.
I believe in the fall IC is like from 6-9 and she usually lets you out early, what is it during the summer. If you can swing it then go for it, but you and only you know what you can handle.
