Just thought I would get a forum started as we await the decision. Everyone feel free to post your overall GPA, math and Science GPA, and TEAS scores. Also why you want to be a nurse and what specialty you would like to work in?
Overall GPA 3.38
M&S GPA 3.4
TEAS 80.7
I originally wanted to be an OB/GYN, but then I got pregnant and decided I would just become an account (math is my favorite subject). After my stay in the hospital (labor/delivery & postpartum) I decided I can still be in the hospital setting if I become a nurse. I want to be an OB/GYN nurse.:heartbeat I eventually want to become a certified nurse midwife.
Please weigh in Clayton State Applicants!
Everyone will need to tell me how the interviews go and what kind of questions they ask. I'm hoping they are doing two waves of interviews or something. I still haven't heard anything either way. :anbd: It seems like everyone here has interviews on Monday, maybe they will do more the next Monday???? I'm hoping anyways...
Good Luck and let us all know how it goes:)
Your's is before mine...Mine is in the afternoon..but unfortunately I won't be able to get to a computer until I get home from the interview...So I won't be able to find out how it went before I go to mine! SUPER NERVOUS!:heartbeat...(THAT'S MY HEART BEATING...LOL)

Someone said they were behind on interviews. I'm hoping you get a call Monday so you will join us....Sorry you had to go the whole weekend stressing..but the good thing is you did not get a rejection letter in your mail box today...so I think you will be fine. Your score and GPA are about the same as mine. I'm sure you will get a call!
Pomlover: send your advisor a email and see what they say. I am sure if you would have gotten a letter it would have been by now! I would think letters would have gone out 1st and then the calls. And like someone else said they are behind.
Does anyone know why they were doing TEAS tests after the application date? That kind of made me mad considering the fact that you have a deadline and all should have been submitted by then, what do you guys think?
I think you had to register to take it and let them know you were taking it that day....I wish I would have waited to take mine...I took it Jan 6th because I was going to apply to West GA too...(their application was due Jan 15) but I decided not too...really didn't want to go there. I feel like I would have at least got an 85 or better if I would have waited....I only had 2 weeks to study! When did you take your test and what was your score?
@LisaMac, They told me they added additional TEAS dates because of the snow storm. Since the school was closed for a week, they added a week of test dates to make up for it.
I don't even know who my adviser is, I have a hold on my registration for "must see adviser" so I need to get a hold of her for that reason too but for some reason Adviser Track isn't working. I've been trying to hold off calling the department about it because I'm sure they are getting tons of calls from people asking to hear if they got in or not. I figured they wouldn't tell me anything anyways.
At this point I'm just trying to keep myself busy so I can't think about it too much, like that's possible.
Well that will make sense about the snow storm.
I did apply to Emory, West Ga and Gordon. I got accepted to Emory a few weeks ago, but I am now awaiting a package from them on the cost. Clayton is really where I want to go since I have done all my core stuff there and my heart is at Clayton. West Ga has a good program and they have a location in Newnan which is not too far and they start ini the summer. Gordon is my last choice, way to far for me.
