Clayton State Fall 2011

Published

Just thought I would get a forum started as we await the decision. Everyone feel free to post your overall GPA, math and Science GPA, and TEAS scores. Also why you want to be a nurse and what specialty you would like to work in?

Overall GPA 3.38

M&S GPA 3.4

TEAS 80.7

I originally wanted to be an OB/GYN, but then I got pregnant and decided I would just become an account (math is my favorite subject). After my stay in the hospital (labor/delivery & postpartum) I decided I can still be in the hospital setting if I become a nurse. I want to be an OB/GYN nurse.:heartbeat I eventually want to become a certified nurse midwife. :D

Please weigh in Clayton State Applicants!

So it looks like I'm the only one who hasn't heard anything yet. I just checked my mailbox and all I got was a Maxim, so, that's good I suppose. Maybe I should call Tmobile and make sure my phone is working or something, lol.

I hope you hear something soon! I know it's stressful...I literally couldn't sleep last night after finding out that others had gotten interviews! Hang in there!

I am new to this message board my last name started with M and I got called yesterday am and she also emailed me to come on on Monday am. I wish all of you good luck

Who do you all have an interview with?

Collins at 11am. I am nervous, I have not has a interview in 17 years.

Specializes in Operating Room - as a surgical tech.

I got called on Thursday and have an interview for the 21st. She said they were a bit behind in getting the interviews together. Unfortunately, I had a friend get a letter saying she was not accepted for Fall 2011.

Awesome surgtech! I wonder why they are behind? I wonder how long the interviews go for and how long before we know if we are accepted? Did Any of you apply to different colleges too?

This is a nice message board to show our support with each other.

I hope one day soon we can meet and be sitting in class together.

Good luck

I think we all have a different interview person...Not sure how long they will last. They said we should know if we were accepted by April 4th. I only applied to Clayton.

I think there is several nurses that do the interviewing I guess we will find out on Monday how it all goes

Does anyone know how many people they interview? In the past I heard like 70

Specializes in Operating Room - as a surgical tech.

On a previous post I read from 60-75 people were interviewed. That boosts my confidence even more.

Mrs. Lewis, The interviews cannot be too long because I am heading over to take mine straight after a test (asap) from a class scheduled to be done at 10:50 and my interviewer has another interview to do at 11:30.

I dont think the interviews are too long neither

I guess we made the 1st cut wish is a good step.

Who are you guys interviewing with ?
