I was placed as an alternate at PCC? I am trying to stay positive that a spot becomes available! Curtxwild, I also heard from Clackamas on May 18th, maybe e-mail them to check in since you never heard back after the interview ? ?

I’ve heard really amazing things about the CCC program from nurses who have gone through it, and so-so things about the PCC program from nurses I work with. That’s a hard (but good!) choice to make though. I’d probably base it on your proximity or lean towards CCC personally!

I also heard back 5/18 initially. 5/31 for my acceptance off the waitlist. You def should’ve heard by now. Check your spam/trash maybe?

Hi Jenny,

I was placed on alternate too @ pcc ? Do you happen to know if we can find out what number we are on the alternate list? Does PCC do tht?

Hi :)

I am thinking that once the deadline passes to accept a spot in program or the alternate spot, it could be possible that we will find out where we fall on the alternate list, but I’m not sure how it’s going to work this year -I think it’s too soon right now because they need to see how many accept first, if that makes any sense :) Keeping our fingers crossed for us ! Maybe after June 15th we will hear of some movement , or a number so we know where we fall :)

We still have to attend the orientation, right? I hope we get in! Fingers crossed ?

Yes, I think all alternates have to attend the orientation. I will keep my fingers crossed for us, too!

Hi everyone! I am going to be applying to CCC program for 21/22! I will have a total of 49/55 points. Would anyone be willing to share how many points they got and if they got an interview or not? I would like to know where I will stand for next year. I hope the best for you all! :)

I had a 43 this year and received a interview but was waitlisted.

I had 44 pts had interview but was not offered a spot. I was able to get into a different school.

Hi Maddiespell ?

I had 44 points , interviewed but was waitlisted for Clackamas CC this year.I think you’re definitely going to be competitive to get an interview next year , although it always depends on the applicant pool. I might be there again with you if I don’t get in somewhere this year (I was waitlisted at 3 programs ). Good luck to you and take care !

I think you’ll be golden. I had very similar points and had an interview/ offered a spot. I went with a different program just because of proximity but was very impressed by ccc! Good luck!
