Hi everybody! I thought I could start a thread for those applying to UTHealth Cizik school of Nursing for Summer 25. Share stats and information as we hopefully get accepted!

I didn't ask. Last Summer the deadline was extended as well. Those who submitted early received admission (if any) early. The first wave could be out during the second half of Feb, I guess.

Hi ya'll! I applied for Summer 25. So nervous! Anyone think it is possible to be accepted with a 3.6 GPA and a TEAS score of 78? I feel like it is so bad.

I have similar scores to you! I'm also so nervous, but let's hope for the best! I was completely unaware they extended their application deadline so now I'm able to apply but IDK if I'll have enough time to😭 do yall think 1 week is enough for everything

When do y'all think we'll start hearing back from UTH? Ik the deadline isn't here yet I'm just so anxious to know!

it should be. if your school is in houston you could probably pick up your transcripts and submit in person. but you should most likely call to confirm.

I'm nervous too. I think I have a pre-req GPA of 3.89, a science GPA of 3.63 and a TEAS score of 87.3 but I'm worried because I keep seeing people posting TEAS scores above 90%. Seriously hoping it's enough to get me in. I want to go to Cizik so bad. Hoping we all get in. ❤️

I think the earliest we can hope to hear back would be late February but I think March or early April is more realistic.

Did anyone apply to UTMB? Some people are hearing back already there so we may get to hear soon!

Hey guys! I have a question. I took my TEAS first and got my score back and went ahead and applied with that. Then, I took my HESI months later. Does anyone know if I can supplement the TEAS with my HESI? I know Cizik takes both exams but didn't know if I could change them even after I've submitted my application. Hope everyone is well cause I'm freaking out.

I also had similar question regarding making changes to my employment after submission. Did you email them to ask if you could change test scores?

Deadline had closed finally! Hoping mid Feb based off of last year!
