Hi guys! I've noticed that there hasn't been a forum created for fall 2024 so I wanted to go ahead and start one!

Nope apparently. The school should probably contact their applicants to let them know. Those who got accepted for the Summer semester were expected to complete the gen chem requirement before the start of fall semester

Wow that's crazy. They should at least mention it in the admission requirements in case sb is taking intro to chem right now to apply

Wait were you accepted for the fall semester? They told me yesterday I wouldn't have my application reviewed because I don't have the correct chem class and didn't even give me the option to take it over the Summer...

I'm so confused 😭 I called student affairs and they put me on hold to confirm if they would still and they said they would so IDK man... who did you call? And also did you already apply for fall?

Yeah I applied for fall. I got an email that my application was incomplete (bc of the chem thing) and it said to talk to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME). I called her 2 days ago and she said that my application was still in the running and would still be reviewed but to look where I can take it over the Summer in the case I am accepted. Then, yesterday I get an email from her saying that the chem course has to completed by the deadline (April 15) to be considered. I was like what??? bc she told me the complete opposite the other day. I called her yesterday and she said that now its required that the chem class has to be completed before the deadline. When did you call them?? At this point I'm so over it they're making this process so confusing

Bro your kidding I have no idea what's going on 

I called them literally a couple of hours ago and they told me I was good 😭  I got accepted for the Summer semester and they told me to finish it by august, but that was impossible because chem would clash with my nursing classes so I rejected the admission offer. Right after I rejected it I called student affairs to make sure and they gave me the green light and told me to get it done over the Summer. I literally just left a long week of being stressed out and nervous just to plunge right into another one 😔

OMG im so sorry :(( It's so frustrating that they keep switching if we can take it over the Summer or not! I did send a long email to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) after she said the requirements changed asking if it's possible for us to take it over the Summer before we start the fall program in the case we accepted, and told her I have a copy of the previous prerequisite page that says it didn't specify which chem to take, so I'm hoping that will let us at the very least have our application be considered. It's not fair at all that they changed the requirements so recently..

I also got an email like that but when I called she said I was good and that it was a system error ... but that she would call me back after she pulled my app to be reviewed. Very confused.

When did she tell you it was a system error? I hope maybe she was misinformed with me and maybe they are allowing us to take it over the Summer.. Or if enough of us email they'll change it?

I got it the 25th. Yeah maybe! I'm not even sure why she emailed me bc then she said it was all good? And that she would call me back but that was days ago. Just reposting this bc I'm not sure the last one posted 🙂
