City tech nursing 2017?

Hi, I was wondering how my chances are getting into the nursing program for the spring 2017 semester. I have a 3.5 pre req gpa and A in a&p and a 90 on the teas. I know they mostly

look at gpa which is why I'm so nervous... I heard 3.5 is the cutoff. I got a B in eng comp but I got a 95 on the English portion on the teas so I was hoping that would better my chances. I'm really nervous!!! If anyone is in the program please give me your insight!!!

I think it"s not fair how all these CUNY schools are forcing us to stay in a school for a semester before applying. They all only have a few spaces available. I have taken all the classes for the AAS and BSN and if I do not get accepted I do not have any other classes to take to wait another semester. Good Luck!!!!

I agree I've taken all the required courses for the AAS, I just need like 2 or 3 extra classes for the BSN.

What book did you use to study for the teas exam

I ordered my book directly from atitesting I believe they're the ones who make up the teas exam.

I used the one that was posted on the ATI website. It's called the ATI TEAS study book. You can't only rely on that though. I also went on YouTube, and used a few TEAS apps.

I received an email on Friday saying that I was placed on a waitlist. I'll find out for sure about my status before the 20th. Not sure how big the waitlist is at city tech. Has anyone else been placed on the waitlist? I won't get my hopes up. Definitely focusing on trying to get the GPA up a bit more for a guarantee spot next semester.
