Hi, I was wondering how my chances are getting into the nursing program for the spring 2017 semester. I have a 3.5 pre req gpa and A in a&p and a 90 on the teas. I know they mostly
look at gpa which is why I'm so nervous... I heard 3.5 is the cutoff. I got a B in eng comp but I got a 95 on the English portion on the teas so I was hoping that would better my chances. I'm really nervous!!! If anyone is in the program please give me your insight!!!
I just spoke with the department. I think for people, like myself, who are just receiving the acceptance we may not be able to register for awhile:( I was told the registrar's office may not have our major changed over by orientation on January 18th. Supposedly, everything has been pushed back due to the letters being sent out late. I'm just hoping it won't feel too hectic getting everything done before classes begin!
Congratulations!!!!
I received my acceptance letter yesterday and responded to the email as well. I have a 3.5 GPA pre-req and 69 on TEAS. I spoke with the Nursing admissions dept. They are checking the acceptance emails as we speak. I asked about the uniforms and registration. He explained everything will be done on Wednesday during orientation. Let's prepare for first semester which I heard will be our easiest semester. If you don't have nursing shoes get that, work on your medical forms as well and immunizations. I hope we can all genuine meet in person and support one another it's going to be hectic ride for the next 4 semesters. I pray for everyone who was accepted and those whom were not. Best wishes to all. See you guys at orientation.

Hey guys, I called and they said that I was accepted!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I'm so happy right now. I asked the receptionist to transfer to someone that was actually a decision maker, and I got my answer.
