City tech nursing 2017?

Published

Hi, I was wondering how my chances are getting into the nursing program for the spring 2017 semester. I have a 3.5 pre req gpa and A in a&p and a 90 on the teas. I know they mostly

look at gpa which is why I'm so nervous... I heard 3.5 is the cutoff. I got a B in eng comp but I got a 95 on the English portion on the teas so I was hoping that would better my chances. I'm really nervous!!! If anyone is in the program please give me your insight!!!

I feel like I'm the only one who hasn't received anything í ½í¸” I'm so overwhelmed. Hopefully I'll get something in the mail today.

Nicole327 the paperwork is on the website. When you go to the nursing department section on the website, there's a link that says student resources. Then click on physical form. They might give us these papers on orientation but its good to try and get it done asap.

Anyone got email back after confirming their seat? Anyone knows where to get the scrubs from?

The scrubs/ physical form/ clinical sites will be discussed at the orientation. The receptionist told me everything was done a bit late. So they are reviewing acceptance emails and it will take some time for the registars office to change our majors. If you are still not able to enroll for classes everything will be taken care of at orientation is basically what I got from out conversation

I got an email back this morning saying "See you at the Orientation"

I still haven't gotten anything í ½í¸¢

So I got the courage to call! They told me I was on the list so I'm officially accepted into the program. I was accepted with a 3.5 pre-req GPA and a 75.3 on the TEAS with overall GPA of 3.9. He also told me if I don't receive letter to give them a call on Tuesday. Congrats to everyone else who got accepted! I've never been more happier in my life!lol

Hi who did you speak to? I called and they told me the person that had that information wasn't available. I have a bad feeling about this.

Hi caitjd21,

I called the direct line and a lady picked up. She just took down my full name and emplid i.d. I told her I really needed the information. She said If I don't get anything to call back Friday but I got a call five minutes later from the nursing department and spoke to a guy I don't remember his name but he informed me I was on the list.

I spoke to Ali who was the one who had the list apparently. But was told after he took my name, to call back tomorrow because the OTHER person who had the list isn't there. I'll call, either way congrats!

I wish you the best of luck caitjd21! I hope you receive good news :D

Suggestion: download the medical form online and have it completed by your physician. If you can get your flu shots before orientation.
