I would like to start a thread for those of us who have applied for the Fall 2014 Nursing Program at the City Colleges of Chicago. Please post if you have any information you might have regarding acceptance letters and also ask questions regarding the process. I think this will be helpful for applicants as far as how the acceptance process is coming along as well as support through the waiting period.
I know in alot of masters/ba programs they require organic but I'm worrying about that when I get there! And hopefully I can find a program where it is not needed, because boy, chem is def not my strong point!
yeah 121 is the only one needed for ccc. I am not sure if all BSN want Organic, but I am pretty positive they do. It's just my back up plan if I don't get in this year- take all classes I need for BSN, so from then I would not to worry about anything, but nursing.
Eeeps sorry guys just got back from vacation and unsure if anyone else answered so I will go ahead and do so. Basically I called the guy who was in charge of my app, and he looked things over and confirmed that my app was in the system and accepted. Unsure if this was mandatory, but I'm paranoid so I did it anyway!
Welcome back! I ended up emailing them about it and they replied saying that they receive my application. I was also paranoid so I could just leave it like that. I haven't taken organic Chem but my plan is that if I don't get into the program I will take all the classes I need to transfer for BSN. I don't want to waste any time.
Well, it has been almost a month since the application deadline and that just flew by. At least for me, I keep busy between working full time and going to school so that doesn't leave me too much time to dwell on things that I have no control to do anything about. Those sixty days will pass soon, and we will be all accepted at our school of choice! ok, back to chemistry homework now.

No I didn't apply anywhere else. That's why I'm so anxious to find out if I'm accepted. I've waited so long and worked so hard to get to this point and I just want to know if I'm in. Did you apply anywhere else?
I kinda hope that they will let us know earlier. CCC website says BY May 16. So I hope that means May 16 is the deadline, but they can let us know earlier.
ok, back to chemistry homework now.
