It would definitely be hard for those that live far from the school they get in but all I want is to get into the program. I've been waiting too long for this. I live 2 minutes away from Daley and that's why I pick that as my 1st choice but I am willing to travel if I have to.

72 days!!! Lol. yes I have a countdown.

Hey guys, from what I understood from the email I got, they won't be accepting any students to Daley this year due to the Nursing emerging into Malcolm X in 2016.

I don't know if you mind sharing your teas score and GPA, but I thought it would be cool to know. Besides, we don't know each other anyways haha. I got 82 overall on Teas test and 88 on the reading part, and have 4.0 GPA, but I also took only 5 classes so far (pre-reqs.+Bio 120) Now I am in 226 & 233.

Hello Everybody!

I applied with Malcolm X as my first choice. I was really nervous because they hadn't finished evaluating my transcript by the 21st to show I satisfied the Math requirement. Fortunately they completed it that following week and I hadn't heard anything stating my app was deemed incomplete so I can relax now and wait all the way until MAY!

I've monitored previous forums regarding this acceptance process so I'm glad to finally be getting my turn. Seems like people who have gotten accepted in the last few years have had the same stats as me in terms of GPA, Teas, etc. So I'm hopeful. Good luck to everybody!

I also have 4.0 GPA and 80% teas score. I took all the classes at Truman and that is my first choice:)

yeah, same here. Truman #1 Malcolm #2 and Daley #3 :)

I didn't get that email. Oh wow now I'm worried because that means less spots?

OMG, What email are you guys talking about?? The only one I received is about Malcolm X being the "it" school for the medical majors. Maybe I need to re-read it again, but the way I read it, is that they will accept applicants to Daley for this year, but then half way through the program students will have to move to Malcolm. And besides, in the application Daley was still a choice, so who knows what's going on, it's CCC !!!

I wish there was someone to talk to, but unfortunately different people tell different stories, at least at Truman. :banghead:

You received a reply? I didn't. This girl who also applied said that they told her we wouldn't get a reply. If you don't mind me asking...What did it say? I am going to email them to ask why I didn't get a response.

Eeeps sorry guys just got back from vacation and unsure if anyone else answered so I will go ahead and do so. Basically I called the guy who was in charge of my app, and he looked things over and confirmed that my app was in the system and accepted. Unsure if this was mandatory, but I'm paranoid so I did it anyway!
