City Colleges of Chicago Fall 2014 Nursing

Published

Hey Guys/Girls,

I would like to start a thread for those of us who have applied for the Fall 2014 Nursing Program at the City Colleges of Chicago. Please post if you have any information you might have regarding acceptance letters and also ask questions regarding the process. I think this will be helpful for applicants as far as how the acceptance process is coming along as well as support through the waiting period.

Hope to hear from you soon!

You should go and make an apt with a chairman(or what's the name for that person:) of nursing program. Dealing with people in Truman is a pain. They all act like you are annoying, and in fact, they all know nothing.. Don't waste your time with those, and go to the "top" person.

I spoke with the dean and apparently there is still hope :). I was told that all N101 classes will be held at Truman that's really far from me, but if it is where I have to go.. :)... I was told I have to do through a process to be able to start N101 again, but I am just really thankful that I got some information rather than the staff actually continually referring me to each other. But I still appreciate your response.

I know... I can't wait. I'm so nervous and anxious. Has anyone talked to the nursing department? I am wondering since daley is out now is there less spots? I chose daley as my first choice and Malcolm as my second so now I am also wondering if they cut daley and that was my first choice are they going to put me at the bottom of the list? I'm just so worried about all of this now.

I know. Well I don't want to go to either of these schools because I live very close by to truman. We can switch if you get in to truman and I get in Malcolm:yes:

:) at this point all I want is to get in somewhere. I can't wait to find out we have a little over a month left hopefully they send out acceptance emails sooner.

Haha yeah, the main goal is to get in to the program! We will worry about details later! 37 days left:nailbiting:

I am having a nervous panic attack waiting...My GPA is a 3.75 with a TEAS score of 82.7. I feel like its not enough! :***:

Don't worry those are good scores. Good luck to you!

Thank you! I know about this time last year, they sent out acceptance/denial emails. I guess i will be on pins and needles until I hear something.

I think your scores are really good!

Did they send acceptance that early last year?! Oh I am so nervous!!!

Yeah by April 9th they were already sending them. I don't know why they are sending the so late this year.
