Christmas Break

Published

Hey, I'm so excited about break. Just completed third semester and now I am looking forward to reading somthing that does'nt involve a body part. What is everyone going to do on break? Any thoughts on some good books to read?:yeah:Happy Holidays to all!!!!

I have 6 weeks off!! I will spend about 3 of the 6 weeks giving my brain some rest by doing absolutely nothing :D By the 3rd week I want to start reading for next semester. I picked up the readings etc already for next semester, so I am getting a jump start.

I know what you guys mean. I'm on break until 1/20/09 but can I stop studying? No.

I'm already trying to get the syllabus for APII so I can start learning all the models so that I'll be prepared because my lab instructor Does Not teach! She stresses that it's

a 'self-taught' lab, whatever that means.

I'm trying to start learning the Blood, the Heart and the Circulatory system over

the break.

Any suggestions would be great:)

1.Do plenty of laundry.

2.Paint my nails with all different colors LOL.

3.Sleep/rest.

4.Spend time with my loved once that include my cute dog.

5.Shop? LOL.

6.Clean my car definitely.

7.Study for exit exam/cant live without studing LOL

::looks at nails of 3 different colors:: You mean I can't do this in school?

I'm reading "The Fifth Elephant" by Terry Pratchett..his books are really funny, good reads (if you're into geeky fantasy world stuff like I am :chuckle). "Guards, Guards!" is a good start to the series. I'm also reading Critical Care Nursing made incredibly easy, since I'm going into my advanced med/surg rotation next semester :specs:

My plans...just before my last semester are to:

Me and my boyfriend just got back from a cruise to cozumel, mexico. I had a blast! Did not think about nursing school once. :-)
