Hiya, Spazzy!! How's your mama?
The narrative is percolating. I've been getting a lot of emails and a couple of phone calls from people getting ready to do their CPNE's. It's great being in such close contact with people I've felt close to, albeit only on-line....
So, it's not done but it will be soon. I promise. I do find that I am still recovering from the event.
(It takes time to obsess.......)

Totally understandable- it took me a couple weeks to recover...lol. It is cool to actually talk to your "classmates" on the phone, isn't it?
Well just know that we're all waiting in anticipation for the novel, whenever you are ready to e-publish it. :)
Yes, it is a blast to talk to people that you "know" online. I've even met 3 in person, which is even cooler.
(And my mama be good, Chris..... thanks for asking!)

OK, Chris, I am dying to get the details. I am a Regents grad (class of 2000) and am pursuing my BSN now at another school. I really love allnurses and "lurk" quite a bit. I must admit, I still enjoy reading about the whole Excelsior process and giving advice when I can. I am so happy for you because I was in your shoes, so to speak. I think the yahoo group I was part of eventually disbanded because some of the problems you and Spazzy have described in other threads. I really attribute my success to the "study buddies" because of all the info shared by those who had completed the whole experience. I hope you enjoy the life changes as much as I do! Congrats again, and please post soon!!!!
I am off to San Antonio in the a.m. for three days of continuing ed for the LMFT I'm still hanging onto, and with nobody there but me, and no home work (and no NC exams to prepare for!!), I'll get it done.
I'll be back Friday morning. If I get it done any faster, I'll find the San Antonio public library, go to nontradnurse, upload the file and come here and make my announcement.
Thank you all for your patience!
(When does the cotton-behind-the-eyes feeling go away? I still feel so fried! I am amazed that I am able to do this to myself. The pressure was mine, all mine. The CPNE couldn't have been more straightforward and fair.)

I like hearing CPNE experiences also, reminds me of the 'fun' I had so many years ago.. :)
:rotfl: Love it, Featherz!!
But since we're on the topic of oldies still hanging around, I agree with you and Cindy. EC (Regents) and the CPNE had such an impact on our lives, it's a little hard to let go completely.
