Jesse Sallandar, from Code Black. He is so empathetic/ sympathetic. Also he knows his place but doesn't mince any words when he knows what needs to be done. His sense of humor is fantastic. He is one of the best!!

Love nurse Ratched (big nurse)

"I don't have a thing for doctors, I have a thing for drugs." -Nurse Jackie

Ñurse Ratchet

Georgina Parker (as Terri Sullivan) from All Saints, an Australian medical drama focused on nursing. The best nursing show on TV I've ever watched. Terri was a former nun also the unit Nurse Manager sometimes faced with moral dilemma in her decisions.

Jessie (Luis Guzman) from Code Black is my favorite nurse portrayed on telivison

He is not afraid to take a stand when its needed and he always puts his patients FIRST

He shows compassion and can be hard when he needs to

He's not afraid to tell a Dr. off if they are wrong about something, as portrayed in the MEME posted

He and the main Dr. Rorish have a special bond that really helps sometimes with the patient care on the show

Zoey Barkow from Nurse Jackie

She was eager to learn, kind and even timid at first. As seasons progressed you could see her growth which is something every nurse goes through. Not to mention she was one funny lady.

Hot Lips Houlihan played by Loretta Switch on MASH

Nurse Jackie from Nurse Jackie. She brings a great deal of respect to Nursing skill as being a nurse despite all of her terrible flaws. It illustrates compassion 2 ways. The way she takes care of her patients is generally outstanding although flawed. It also shows a truth of how nurses are human and flawed as well which I feel draws in a certain amount of compassion the audience feels for her. It also serves a realistic illustration to a real problem in nursing - high stress and substance abuse. I like that it brings an awareness to this.
