Jesse Sallandar, from Code Black. He is so empathetic/ sympathetic. Also he knows his place but doesn't mince any words when he knows what needs to be done. His sense of humor is fantastic. He is one of the best!!
Georgina Parker (as Terri Sullivan) from All Saints, an Australian medical drama focused on nursing. The best nursing show on TV I've ever watched. Terri was a former nun also the unit Nurse Manager sometimes faced with moral dilemma in her decisions.
She was eager to learn, kind and even timid at first. As seasons progressed you could see her growth which is something every nurse goes through. Not to mention she was one funny lady.
Nurse Jackie from Nurse Jackie. She brings a great deal of respect to Nursing skill as being a nurse despite all of her terrible flaws. It illustrates compassion 2 ways. The way she takes care of her patients is generally outstanding although flawed. It also shows a truth of how nurses are human and flawed as well which I feel draws in a certain amount of compassion the audience feels for her. It also serves a realistic illustration to a real problem in nursing - high stress and substance abuse. I like that it brings an awareness to this.
