Hi all!

The CHOC app for their new grad RN residency recently opened, so I wanted to create a forum where we're all able to connect! I applied to the CVICU!

Congratulations again to everyone getting invited to interview. How much time is being given between request and interview date? I will need to make some travel arrangements for in person interviews. Not a big deal at all, but I will need to arrange travel and lodging. Wondering if I should travel down to OC now, but I have other NG programs I am waiting to hear from as well... Thanks so much for any feedback!!

Has anyone heard any information about what to expect in the interview? Also are you guys going to bring a portfolio, the email said resume and cover letter but wasn’t sure if I should bring my whole portfolio

Did the status change on the application for those who have received an interview? Mine still says 'under consideration' so I was wondering if it says something different?

Mine still says Under Consideration and I received an interview

Hi Surgical peeps, still no email or calls? Is it true this is the last day we should hear about an interview?

Not yet! I’m checking my email every 5 minutes! I can’t remember where, but I read that if we are to receive an interview invite it will be by today. Interviews will take place the week of the 24th.
