CHOC New Grad Program Summer 2011

I haven't seen any threads with CHOC information.. so i created this one. Has anyone heard anything?

lovepeacelove, when did you apply? my status is still under review.... anybody else have any status changes??

i applied the first day the applications came online, within the first hour. my top choices were nicu, ct icu, picu and then med/surg. i heard that for the nicu they were only hiring 2-3 (not sure if that's entirely true...just what i heard)

good luck to you if your status still says "under review". that means the positions are not completely filled yet and you probably still have a chance :)

Wow! 1800 applicants! Do you know how many they're hiring? Good luck to everybody!! :D

I also heard that there were over 1000 applicants. And only about 20 positions!

Same here and I applied to heme/onc. Part of me is still hoping I get hired at CHO so I can stop all of this waiting around.

My status still says under review and I applied for PICU.

Hello everyone

I applied to CHOC March 17th and I interviewed April 8th and second interview April 15th and job got offer today. I heard they were hiring for 20 positions total and yes, that over a thousand applicants. The PICU was hiring for only 3 positions and 20 people interviewed.

I don't know if they are absolutely done with the hiring process though. I really wish you all the best. I know it's tough, I've been applying since beginning of November myself and definitely began feeling hopeless. Hang in there and do the applications and phone calls to HR at a coffee shop, it cheers me up.

Congrats!! That's so awesome you got the job! Hopefully they're still hiring :) My status still says under review & I applied on 3/18/11. I made a mistake and applied for the Med/Surg position, but I put my 1st choice as NICU. Haha!
