CHOC New Grad Program Summer 2011

Published

I haven't seen any threads with CHOC information.. so i created this one. Has anyone heard anything?

hi hope11

can you tell me which unit you applied to?! congrats by the way!!

i also got an interview 4 weeks ago but haven't heard back.. my status online still says under review so i'm still hopeful!

DD1 had an interview April 4th, got offered a job on April 11th. DD2 got in at Mount Sinai in NY for RN Externship in the summer :yeah:

Specializes in Critical Care.

Congratulations to those with job offers! Do you have a BSN? (I have previously heard that CHOC is only hiring BSNs...but I'm just curious if that rumor is true...)

Has anyone heard from CVICU? It says my application is currently under review. And for now, that's good enough for me.

@AAnderson - Thank you. My DD1 will graduate in June with a BSN and will be at CVICU.

anyone here heard back from picu yet?

Has anyone interviewed or been hired more recently for the CHOC residency program? My status is still under review and I'm wondering what my prospects are ;)

I applied to med-surg and it says my application is still under review as well

I found out they are done with the interviewing and hiring process, just wanted to update anyone who was still hopeful!

Has anyone gotten a job offer at CHOC who did their preceptorship in adults?

@ UCI&USFMom,

I have an interview for CHOC CVICU New Grad on Tuesday. Can you give me any information? I'm rehearsing some basic interview questions. Should I focus more on behavioral/situational questions? Did you have a 1-1 interview, group, or panel? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I think my DD said she was interviewed by 2 people, one was the manager. I don't know what she was asked. She did not go to CHOC. She chose UCLA. Good luck!
