CHOC Children's RN Residency February 2015

Published

Hello New Grads! :D

Just wanted to start a tread for CHOC's RN Residency for Feb 2015! I'm was so excited to hear that they are holding a Winter Residency. I applied to the Medical Unit and am anxiously waiting to hear any news! The application is still open for those of you who have not yet applied. I have heard there are only 12 openings. Good luck everyone!!

Just an update: Spoke to my friend but he hasn't heard anything at all. Any news?

Thank you for the update. No still nothing. Left a message for the nurse manager this am. Starting to feel a little discouraged :-/

I'm still thinking positive thoughts for all of us. I guess it's beyond our control at this point. Must have been a very tough decision.

I just received a call from the Neuroscience Unit manager and I GOT THE JOB!!!!! I am SOOO ecstatic and just in shock! For all you externals, IT IS POSSIBLE!!!!! :D

Would you mind saying what the starting pay is? I'm trying to get info on new RN's salary in the Orange County area

Garyy any word yet?

Unfortunately I won't be advancing forward with the hiring process. Good luck with everything. Did you find out anything?

I just got an email today that I didn't get in. I'm heartbroken :-(. I'm sure something better will open up for us.

CHOC Children's have a fellowship and residency programs. I 've applied for the NICU fellowship. Anybody got NICU interviews?... Good luck to all:)

Ive applied to NICU residency as well but havent heard anything yet? have you gotten one yet?

Got a call this afternoon for an interview on friday! i hope it goes well!

Hi, I'm looking to apply for the August 2016 cohort and was hoping you could all answer some questions about the application process. The website doesn't list the qualifications for the program. Is there a GPA requirement? Are reference letters needed (from clinical instructors or employers)? Is a letter of intent needed? Any information will help!! Thank you for any feedback :-)

how long does the application stay open?
