Hello New Grads! :D

Just wanted to start a tread for CHOC's RN Residency for Feb 2015! I'm was so excited to hear that they are holding a Winter Residency. I applied to the Medical Unit and am anxiously waiting to hear any news! The application is still open for those of you who have not yet applied. I have heard there are only 12 openings. Good luck everyone!!

katomps, I am sorry to hear that. *hugs* I know that must be difficult (I have been rejected after long interview processes as well and it's awful!), but I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and I know that you will do amazing things at Oklahoma University Medical Center! I am sending you all my best! Don't ever lose sight of your dream to be a pediatric heme/onc nurse and you WILL end up there some day. Good luck on your future endeavors!

I had an interview with the PICU.

I had my panel interview today for med/surg/neuro. It was a panel of 12 people (talk about intimidating) but overall I think it went well! Competition is fierce though. It seems as if they are interviewing around 20 people for only 3 spots, one on each unit. I am praying for the best!! I really hope we all get this! I am sorry to hear that PICU hasn't gotten back, but the managers told me during my interview today that I would hear after Jan 1st. I'm not sure if it's the same with PICU but maybe they are just delayed with making decisions due to the holidays? Either way, crossing fingers for ALL of us!! :):nurse::up:
