Hello New Grads!

Just wanted to start a tread for CHOC's RN Residency for Feb 2015! I'm was so excited to hear that they are holding a Winter Residency. I applied to the Medical Unit and am anxiously waiting to hear any news! The application is still open for those of you who have not yet applied. I have heard there are only 12 openings. I heard from them yesterday. I didn't get the position. Im unsure if they called the people they picked yet. Good luck and maybe give them a call today or tomorrow!

Anyone hear news from CHOC? Someone recently told me that they are only hiring internal candidates for the RN residency :-/. I've yet to hear from them and I had my interview last Wednesday

I have not heard anything. But I really hope that is not the case! I am an external candidate and I hope that by being extended an interview that it means we stand a chance!! I am praying for you ecolmen. I think no news is good news at this point!

I had my interview last tuesday (12/9) and heard back from them on Friday (12/12) that I interviewed very well but there were so many good candidates and I was not chosen. It came to "enie-meanie-miney-mo" is what the manager told me.......I asked if I could improve on anything and that was the answer I got. Hope someone external gets a spot in the residency! Im headed to oklahoma university medical center! ready to start my career!
