CHOA New Grad Nurse Residency May 2020

Hey y’all!
Since the application opened for the nurse residency program at CHOA, I decided to start a thread ? I’m so nervous but I have officially submitted my application. Best of luck y’all. Let the games begin!

I got the call a few days ago and I have accepted a position in the NICU!

for those of you who have been hired can you kind of outline your timeline of the interview process? I just applied on 12/29 and completed my digital interview today and just would like to know what to expect!

Yes I am an internal hire!

The interview was with two people. It was very laid back. We went over the residency program and working in the unit and then they asked me a few behavioral questions. It was really not bad at all! I think every unit will have a different interview process though :)

I applied the middle of November and got a call for an interview like the first or second week of December. Then I interviewed in the middle of December and heard back at the end of December! I didn't have to do the hirevue though since I'm internal :)

hey everyone! I just applied on Friday for the NICU so I'm waiting to hear back! How soon did you guys hear back after you applied? @nursingstudent1996 congratulations on getting the job, that's so exciting!! If you have any tips or recommendations I would really appreciate them ?

I did my digital interview a few days ago! Wondering if anyone who applied externally has heard anything past that??

@rnstu20 I applied externally and had my digital interview 2 weeks ago and haven't heard anything back? I'm nervous but have heard before that it can be a really long process so I'm trying to be patient! We got this!!

I applied externally and also had my digital interview earlier this month. Super nerve racking having to wait but best of luck to all of us!!
