CHLA Versant RN Residency September 2020 Cohort

Hi! I know the application for CHLA's RN Residency Program doesn't come out until March 2nd, 2020, but I just wanted to get a heads start!

I'm planning on applying for their NICCU and was curious if anyone knew what the prescreen interview would consist of?

I applied to the heart institute as well and haven't heard from them regarding interviews other than an email regarding postponing the program start date. my status still says submitted as well. I wish they email us soon. I hope that even if we get rejected, at least they will let us know.

Had the PICU interview on Wednesday morning! Pretty standard questions-- why nursing, describe yourself in 3 words, how were you a patient advocate, hobbies outside of nursing, etc. ? Nothing too out of the ordinary!

I also have not heard back from D4/D5 and did not get the email where they mentioned pushing back start dates. Thanks for calling and leaving a message, let us know what they say! ?

I just got an email from HR for med surg. I applied to D4/D5! It just explained how the program now will start in January and mentioned that HR will be reaching out to applicants individually between now and July to set up an interview in July/August.

CONGRATS to all of you who got offers. still waiting to hear back from ED. just curious.. when they gave you the offer, did they say how much your starting rate would be? I have a few other offers from other hospitals in LA and OC but am waiting on CHLA

They did not let me know the starting rate but I think it will be the same for all new grads.

I believe they have sent out the interview times and dates already. I just got my confirmation yesterday!
