CHLA RN residency September 2015

Hi all, just starting a new thread to see where everyone is at regarding application to the CHLA RN residency program scheduled for September 2015! What units did you apply to, and who has received their packet information?

Well for me I didn't need to do a 10 minute screening interview so I'm going directly straight to the 2nd round

No I'm not, but I did just recently complete my preceptorship in the unit I applied for so I think that helped me out :)

SRN2015, I interviewed for the ED on 4/23 and got the call for a 2nd interview on 4/27

Awesome CassPedsRN! I had a speed interview with the heart institute and they said they would call by today if we got a second one but I haven't heard anything yet :/

They should notify you either way so if you don't hear in the next couple of days you should call HR to check on your status. Good luck!

SRN2015, I'm anticipating this week to be called back for which day my interview is. I got a call 2 weeks ago saying that I will head directly over to the 2nd round interviews

Hey all I just had my second interview for the NICCU. They said I wouldnt hear back for about a month as I was their first one to interview for this round. Anyone else out there get a second interview?!

Congrats snowyshan, I hope your interview went well! I also got a second round interview. Mine isn't until June 12, probably because I'm from out of the area. Do you mind sharing how long your interview was?

Also, did you by chance ask them how many new grads will be hired to the unit for this cohort?
