Hi Nurses :)

Wanted to start a new forum for those of you applying for the RN New Grad Program for the Spetemper 2013 cohort.

I am at shorter university in Georgia. The top of my email said to let her know my first choice so I replied to the email with PICU. I hope that's what she wanted me to do. All I know is I am supper excited for the chance to work for them. I have read the entire web site lol (well almost) :)

What school are you in are you in state or out of state ?

HEY ALL FROM DOMINICAN UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, I GRADUATED IN DECEMBER AND TOOK BOARDS IN FEB AND PASSED YEAH. MY FIRST CHOICE IS PICU, AND SECOND CHOICE IS HEMO/oncology. have anyone lse taken the boards r are you ill in school

I took boards in January, glad to have that over with! The information packet said if you do not hear anything by May 20 you were not selected for an interview. That seems like forever!

Dee1267 haha I've been reading past threads too, very informative and helpful ;)

For those of you wondering where we're all from, I was born and raised here in southern CA :) good luck to those who have to take the boards still! You will do great.

I applied to NICU/PICU. I know the email said to give our top choice I just wrote it one the paper that we have to turn in I didn't email back. They didn't really make it clear in the email. Hopefully that works. Good Luck everyone!

so some of you got emails that said to reply with your first choice? My email just thanks for your interest and to do the packet. In the packet it says to pick your top two so I'm confused now!

I'm from LA but I'm at UNC Chapel Hill in NC finishing up in May! yaya:)

at the top of my email it said to let her know first choice that's why I emailed her back not sure if that was right.

Thanks so much :) my school is going a hurst review and they said they have a 99% pass rate so I am hoping with all the practice and their review I can pass with flying colors and get my dream job at CHLA.

It would be nice if we all got in !!! Praying we all do well and get calls for interviews. :) ?
